We want you to get the best out of your jewellery; as you know all silver plated and sterling silver jewellery will inevitably tarnish over time, but we want you to get longevity out of your beautiful new Little Love Things, so here are a few tips to help you care for them!
- As easy as it is to do, try not to fall asleep in your silver jewellery as they don’t respond well to being pulled or put under pressure!
- Take them off before bathing or showering, the last thing you need is for any of your pieces getting stuck in your hair. Some of our jewellery could lose their colour if exposed to chemicals and water!
- Avoid wearing your Little Love Things during sports! It is not only bad for them, but depending on the sports, it’s also not ideal for you.
- Avoid chemicals, things like sun cream, hair dye, tan etc.
- Keep your sterling silver collection pieces in the box when not wearing it to reduce the risk of the silver oxidising and use an anti-tarnish cloth regularly to keep them clean and sparkling!
- Lastly, keeping your silver jewellery clasped when you’re not wearing them, will keep them from knotting

- Try to clean your stainless steel jewellery about once a month or often if it gets dirty. Cleaning it and maintaining it often will help it last a long time.
- Keep your pieces away from chemicals like bleach and detergents. Regular exposure to them can cause discoloration
- Store your pieces in separate compartments so they don’t rub against each other during storage. This will protect them from scratches and other damage caused by abrasion and impact.
